“ Take a detour from the Autobahn and go here for lunch. Time seems to have stood still here, but the atmosphere is great Friendly and welcoming staff and good German food Most cold lunch dishes with roasted potatoes. This place is highly recommended for an authentic experience. ”

“ We used to come here with Grandma and Grandpa, then there was a break of almost two decades – why, actually? And now we're grandparents ourselves. So what could be more natural than stopping here for a meal during a bike tour? It was like coming home. The food, German cuisine, was delicious. The atmosphere is perfect for a country inn. Everything was clean and tidy, right down to the restrooms. Many thanks and see you next time! ”

“ Anyone who loves good, traditional German cuisine will be happy here. The menu is small, but the portions are all the more generous. There's something for almost every taste: meat, fish, and vegetarian options. While the menu is generally meat-heavy, traditional German cuisine isn't exactly known for its abundance of vegetarian dishes. The vegetarian farmer's breakfast was delicious and a large portion. The food was tasty, and everyone at the table was very satisfied. We also had no complaints about the service. Since there were only two other guests besides us at the time of our visit, I can't comment on the acoustics when it's busy. Today, we could only hear the staff talking occasionally. Dogs are also welcome here; our Sunny was, of course, with us. ”

“ My family has been going to the Braaker Krug for three generations. We will always visit the restaurant out of tradition, but because the food continues to be so delicious, it's even more enjoyable to go there. ”

- Alexander Schmidtchen -

“ Not bad, very rustic settings with a nice ambience. ”

- Deepak Vandelin -

“ A very attractive restaurant after its renovation, offering good German cuisine. Unfortunately, the menu is quite limited, with only one meat dish and two fish dishes. We had the farmer's breakfast – it was very good . ”

- Helmut Jung -

“ The Braaker Krug is the perfect place for us to dine at least twice a year, even with a larger group. The service is incredibly attentive, and the cuisine perfectly suits our tastes, whether it's kale or roast goose—the quality is consistently excellent. We look forward to our visits all year long. A big thank you to the entire team! ”
